Being active is a goal of RunBelfast!
Hike in the woods, walk the Rail Trail, run city streets.
Stay safe but stay active!
What & Who is RunBelfast?
We kicked off 2020 with visions of hundreds of folks participating in the third year of RunBelfast . . . Instead, we all ran into a virus and RunBelfast went virtual . . . A few loyal participants stayed with us through the challenging year, and we are grateful for their commitment to RunBelfast and to their own health . . .
What is in store for 2021 you ask . . . We are planning a four-race schedule for this year . . . Paces for PAWS will hold a virtual run during mid-June . . . Rotary will hold its Bug Run 5K as a live event on August 14, as part of Harbor Fest (13-15 August) . . . On September 18, the Waldo County YMCA was scheduled to hold its annual Pancake Road Races offering two live events: A Child Shall Lead 1 Mile Family Fun Run; and a 5K Walk/Run . . . However, the current Covid spike has resulted in those runs being cancelled . . . Our final event will be a Lions’ sponsored live 5K Run for Diabetes to be held October 30 . . . Further info on any scheduled event can be found by clicking the organization logo below . . . Be well, be safe . . And come run with us . . .
Thanks to Coastal Mountains Land Trust, Belfast Rotary, PAWS, the Waldo County YMCA, and the Lions for working together to deliver a RunBelfast 2021 event series with support from the City of Belfast . . .
