RUNBELFAST 2023
The running season is fast upon us. And RunBelfast 2023 is your answer to satisfying that need to get outside and move your feet and feel the wind in your face. This sixth season of RunBelfast offers the five events listed below: four old favorites and one new event. Paces for PAWS and Run Wild! will be held on the Belfast Rail Trail: Paces for PAWS will start at the Depot at the far end of the trail, while Run Wild! is considering having its start/finish on Front Street at Marshall Wharf. Both are fairly flat, out-and-back courses. The Rotary Bug Run offers a fairly flat course that includes a few gentle hills, shaded neighborhoods, a stretch along the waterfront, and the Armistice Foot Bridge across the Passagassawakeag River. The Lions Ghostly Gallop will be staged out of Belfast Area High School with a course that winds through scenic Belfast neighborhoods. Please note that the Bug Run is held the Saturday during Harbor Fest festivities. And the YMCA run, while still being finalized, will use the cross country trails out behind Troy Howard Middle School. So come join us, either for one or more or even all our events . . .
